Born in Wichita Falls, TX, Sej Miles, granddaughter of a Pentecostal minister, received a serious, foundational music education singing in church from the age of 3, followed by rigorous piano study at age 5.

Stars aligned & Miles has landed in Salinas for an extended residency. She has been prepping a bevy of original material for her first release—songs about “being human… how we have everything in us to be what we’ve been & who we will be… constantly learning about different part of ourselves & learning to love them with reckless intensity & encouraging others to do the same.”
